Love this combo it has caught creek chubs all the way up to bass it was so easy to use that my 5 year old took 2nd place in a fishing tournament all by himself

Great Spinning combo. As always when you buy Shimano you can tell the difference. Medium rod with fast action was very flexible and will cast any finesse style lures a good distance.

rod and reel were excellent. I had not one in the store earlier. I ordered another one online. when it arrived it was broken three pieces.

poor packing

Bought this specific combo to replace one my son loved that got broken. Lucky for Walmart my son is okay with the longer length and different reel.  As this was the only item in the order and was almost $50.00.  I think Walmart needs to retrain their employees at the fulfillment center on how to pick an order.

Ordered a 6'.6" combo.  Received a 7'0" combo.

well at first I was in love with this setup.  i have the 5'6" spinning combo.  But that was at first.... this evening while gett some last fishing in before weather starts to bug out I was using this combo for maybe the 6th time and i went to set the hook on a fish and the shimano sienna pole breaks in half.... literally.   i do not abuse my equipment, it would pass as new if I wanted it to....  i bought it at Wal-Mart 3 months ago but i cant find my receipt and it doesnt look like shimano will even back up their product....  regardless of how or why it broke.   no receipt? NO WARRANTY.   If you ask me that's just a way for companies to deny people warranties.  I would love to talk to somebody in walmart customer service about this.

i used to love it...

I got one and loved it so much I got one for my husband and within a week his stopped reeling.  Tried everything with no luck to get it working.  Mine still works and I've caught some nice crappie on it but seeing his disappointment makes me wonder how long it'll last me.  The top eye on his rod was damaged as well, his rod lasted only one trip. For over $50 and with the shimano name I expected better.
